First we fix a small setting in the settings of vlc: Go to "Tools" menu and select Preferences and check the "All" at the bottom left (fig 1).


Then go in the path "Input/Codecs-> access modules-> HTTP (s)" (fig 2). Here

paste the following User Agent string in the box and restart vlc.
