I Bormio thermal spas are open all year round, even in winter (consigiatissimi winter to the beautiful contrast between the warm waters to 40 degrees below zero and the air with maybe a snowfall). They are located in the Stelvio National Park, Alta Valtellina. 3 hours from Milan and two and a half from Brescia.
The photo shows the outdoor rooftop pool overlooking the valley of Bormio (old spa baths).
The centers are:
- New Baths, open all year, despite the name dates back to 1836. Restored and reopened In 2003, the center still retains the ancient atmosphere. On Friday and Saturday night the New Baths are open till 23 for Relax under the stars.
- Bagni Vecchi, on the slopes of Mount Reit, directly to the source of thermal waters. (These prices old and new bathrooms.)
- Bormio Terme renovated in 2006, very modern and equipped.
